I’m that girl who forgives everyone who gets mad at me. I’m that girl who cares way too much about what people think of her. I’m that girl who fears being alone. I’m that girl who is scared of growing up. I’m that girl who acts like I’m tough when really, I feel like crying. I’m that girl who says yes to everything, because I hate disappointing people. I’m that girl who tries to be nice to everyone then gets taken advantage of. I’m that girl who doesn’t care if it’s a million dollars or a homemade card as long as you thought of me. I’m that girl who tries to express how she feels, but just can’t find the words. I’m that girl who everyone thinks they know, but they don’t.
1 Year
Today I will drink a cup of tea with 3 sweet n lows and milk just like the way my grandma always had me make it for her. I cant believe its been 1 year today since I got the phone call saying she passed away. When I think back on that day I was a mess. I am stronger today then I was one year ago but a part of me is still missing with her being gone. I know shes in a better place but I still wish I could talk to her. When I walk by someone in the store and there wearing her perfume I automatically think of her. Its the only kind of perfume I can ever smell. I still have pictures of us and her in my room and look at them every night before I go to bed. I still have my regrets over things I wish I had done before she passed away, like calling her after her surgery just to say hi and that I loved her but I didn’t do that and I still wish I had but I know I cant change the past. Things have defiantly changed since shes passed away, some good some bad but I have seen the true colors of people in the past year and know who actually cares.
I love you grandma and hope that wherever you are, you are still looking down on me from time to time because I still need you in my life. I miss you! RIP
